With the different subject environments also the focus of tasks varied strongly. 

With the development of technical software, in particular during the codevelopment
of many years of CAD/CAE systems, apart from the data modelling, the conception 
of efficient and accurate algorithms was the center of attention. 
In the dialog with the applying architects and engineers I could develop fastidious 
concepts and practice-oriented solutions, from comfortable construction and 
armouring systems, over the implementation of a graphical data exchange interface
(DXF), up to the production of NCC-Control data for the construction of finished units 
of concrete. 

Also in technical regard (in the eighties and early ninties) still wide areas were to be 
covered: beside the actual CAD/CAM applications first it applied to develop its own 
graphical user interface (GUI), as well as drivers for graphical in- and output devices.
